The Neuse Sport Shop Eastern NC Bass Challenge will make our 1st stop on the Roanoke River on Saturday April 19 in Plymouth, NC.This is our 3rd tournament of the 2025 season. The Ronaoke River is THE most popular fishery in eastern North Carolina and we’re promising a minimum of $3,000 to our 1st place winners! The first-place winners at our last tournament on Kerr Lake took home over $5,000!
Our last event on the Roanoke River was won by Last year this event was won by Roger and Dylan Thomas in July 2024 when they weighed in over 21 pounds of bass.
This tournament is a 1 day event and will take place on Saturday, April 19.

Fish Limit: 5 fish, All fish must be 14 inches in length or greater.

You may purchase entry fees at the boat ramp on the morning of the tournament.
Anglers may use other ramps in the area and travel by boat to our launch landing. If you use another ramp, you are still required to come to the Collins Boats tournament trailer to check in and to have your live well checked by a Bass Challenge associate. If navigating in the dark, be sure the running and navigation lights on your boat are TURNED ON!
There are NO OFF-LIMITS for this tournament. Anglers are free to be on tournament waters any day of their choosing for this event.
Our crew will be on-site at 5:00 am to handle angler check-in for the event. All anglers must check in with our staff and receive a boat number slip before our tournament begins. Blast off will begin at safe light. We always blast our anglers off as early as possible to maximize fishing time. We anticipate blasting off for this event at approximately 6:30 am.

Weigh-in: 3:00 pm (First Flight)
Early Weigh-in: All anglers may begin weighing in at 1:30 pm if needed.

We’re happy to offer our anglers several incentives and contingency prizes this year. Our events in 2024 will be officially sanctioned events for the following contingencies:
The parking lot for this tournament is located in the grassy area across the street from the launch ramp. We anticipate filling the parking lot quickly for this tournament. Overflow parking can be found down Water Street by the Police Station. Anglers may also park down other side streets down town Plymouth.
PLEASE READ – Live well checks will be performed before you launch your boat or after you check in at the Collins Boats tournament trailer. After you launch your boat into the water, stage by the docks next to the launch ramp. Ensure your running lights and navigation lights are turned on. We will call boat numbers from the dock at the launch ramp. Once your boat number is called, you will need to idle out of the no-wake zone, and then you may get on plane to start your day.
Your boat number can be found on the front page of this website. Boat numbers are based on the order of entry fee payment received. Every 25 boats will begin a new flight. The first flight is due back in at 3:00 pm and every proceeding flight after that is due back in 10 minutes later.
Every angler who competes with us this weekend will receive 10% off in-store and online purchases at Neuse Sport Shop. You must provide us with your email address and phone number so we can enter you into our database to receive the discount.
All prize winnings will be paid out in checks. Please deposit these checks within 30 days of the tournament. By request, anglers may receive their payouts digitally through PayPal, Cash App, or Venmo. Anglers may also choose to forward their winnings towards an entry fee for future tournaments.
Anglers should expect a Polygraph Test to be given at this event.
During the weigh-in, anglers will be able to view their results and current standings on our Live Leaderboard. We will also be live-streaming the weigh-in on our YouTube channel so family and friends can watch online. Make sure you’re following us on our official Instagram and Facebook accounts as well.
