Weighing in 13.90 lbs, Bubba Barnett and Jeremy Miller win back-to-back tournaments to start 2021! 66 teams were competing in this event in Washington, NC on the Tar/Pamlico River, which was our 2nd tournament of the 2021 season. In a tough day featuring hard westerly winds and low water conditions, Barnett and Miller brought 13.90 lbs to the scales and again won convincingly.
They took home a cash prize of $1900 and 2 commemorative trophies after their win!
The team of Brian Stalls and Clark Harrington also had a solid day on the water. The team brought 12.76 lbs to the scales and secured their 2nd place finish. They were rewarded $1200 in cash prizes for their finish.
Husband and wife team, Chance and Sabrina Gray weighed in 12.40 lbs of bass this weekend and took 3rd place honors in Washington. When asked during the weigh-in, Chance said his wife Sabrina caught all the fish! 🙂 The team took home $750 in winnings after their day on the water.
Justin Peaden weighed in the catch of the day. He brought a 6.18 lb bass to our scales and won the Greenville Toyota Tournament Big Fish Prize. He received $300 in winnings for weighing in the biggest bass of the tournament.
Weather and water conditions created a tough environment to fish in this weekend in Washington. With a strong westerly wind, water conditions were very low for this event making quality fish hard to come by for most anglers. The Eastern NC Bass Challenge awarded the top 11 teams in this event.
