The Eastern NC Bass Challenge held our 3rd tournament of 2025 on the Roanoke River on April 19, 2025. 137 teams competed in this event, with the top prize being over $5,000! Walt Goff and Phillip Gibson took home 1st place honors after they brought 19.42 pounds of bass to the scales Saturday afternoon.
They won our Neuse Sport Shop $5,100 1st place prize. Walt Goff was also fishing out of his Triton bass boat which qualified him for the Triton Gold contingency prize which is another $8,000! That makes their total winnings $13,100!
Our next event will be May 10 on Lake Gaston in Littleton, NC.
The Bass Challenge paid cash prizes to our top 22 teams in this event. It took 13.56 pounds to finish inside the Bass Challenge money line.
