West & Haggard Take Points Championship

NCBASSCHALLENGE.COM

It came down to the final tournament of the season to determine who would win the 2018 Team Points Championship.  In the end, it was won by the well-seasoned and experienced team of Zeb West & Jay Haggard! They finished 2nd in the final tournament of the season on the Tar River and took control of the top spot.

Zeb and Jay had 3 top 10 finishes in the Eastern NC Bass Challenge in 2018. They remained in the top 3 in the point standings for the majority of the season but finally took over first place after the last tournament of the year proving they were the most consistent team in 2018.

For their great year on the water, they will be rewarded with $750 in cash, free entry into the 2018 Classic Tournament and boat #1 for the Classic Tournament.

Zeb West & Jay Haggard weighed in a 20+ lb sack of fish in our April Roanoke River tournament.

2nd Place – Ted Park and Chance Gray

Finishing in 2nd place was Ted Park and Chance Gray. They had a great year and held first in the point standings the majority of the season but fell just short after the final tournament of the season. They were very consistent through out the season finishing in the top 10 4 times proving they will be a force going into the 2019 season.

Ted and Chance will be rewarded with $500 in cash and boat #2 in our Roanoke River Classic Tournament.

3rd Place – Brandon Hendricks and John Williams

Brandon and John worked hard all season to get into the top 3 in the 2018 Team Points Championship. However, they didn’t make an appearance in the top 3 until after the final tournament of the season. But with 3 top 10 tournament finishes in 2018, the team proved that dedication and hard work will pay off!

Their season was highlighted by a 2nd place finish in the April Roanoke River tournament where they weighed-in a giant sack of fish that tipped the scales at 21.47 lbs! They also had a 3rd place finish on the Neuse River in July. For their great season they will be rewarded with $250 in cash and boat #3 in our Roanoke River Classic Tournament.
