No team competing in the 2019 Eastern NC Bass Challenge was more consistent and dominating than John Kellett and Adam Baldwin who won the 2019 Eastern NC Bass Challenge Team Points Championship!
Of our 6 qualifier tournaments, John and Adam had top 5 finishes in 5 of those tournaments tallying a total of 570 points over the course of the 2019 season!
The teams season was highlighted by a 1st place win on the Tar/Pamlico River on April 14, 2019 where they weighed in over 16 lbs of bass. John and Adam will be rewarded with a $1000 cash prize for their Points Championship Victory and will be boat #1 in our End-of-Year Classic Tournament.
Finishing in 2nd place was Steve Vann and Skippy Lewis. They had a great year with the Eastern NC Bass Challenge as they were consistent all year long. In fact, the team had back to back victories on the Neuse and Roanoke Rivers earlier in 2019. Steve and Skippy had a mechanical issue in our first tournament of the season in which they couldn’t weigh in their fish. Otherwise, they would have had a very good shot at winning 1st Place in our Team Point Standings.
Steve and Skippy will be rewarded with $500 in cash and boat #2 in our Roanoke River Classic Tournament.
Brian and Joe Haddock took 3rd place in our Team Points Championship. The battle for 3rd place was wide open until after our final regular season tournament. Brian and Joe maintained their 3rd place lead most of the season. The teams had 2 top 5 finishes this year including a 2nd place on the Neuse River this past May.
For their great season they will be rewarded with $250 in cash and boat #3 in our Roanoke River Classic Tournament.
Our Team Points Championship continues to grow every season! We will return in 2020 with even bigger rewards and incentives for our anglers. Thank you to all teams who participated!
