The Eastern NC Bass Challenge held it’s end of year Classic this past Sunday on the Roanoke River in Plymouth, NC. The tournament was won by none other than Larry Thomas and Gerald Elks who weighed in 19 lbs of bass. After a 3 week delay due to Hurricane Florence, the Eastern NC Bass Challenge’s Classic Tournament featured 24 teams competing for cash and prizes. However none were better than Larry and Gerald as their bag of bass weighed in at 19.82lbs betting the second place team by more than 3lbs.
With 19.82 pounds of bass, Larry Thomas and Gerald Elks took 1st place in a Eastern NC Bass Challenge Tournament for the 3rd time this year! The team took home nearly $2000 in cash and $200 in gift certificates to Craven Outdoors Taxidermy.
2nd Place went to the team of Ted Park and Chance Grey. Ted and Chance weighed in a great bag of fish! With 16.14lbs, they secured second place and took home $900 in cash!
3rd place honors went to Jeremy Miller who weighed in 15.99 lbs of bass. Jeremy, who competed as an individual for this tournament.
The biggest bass of the tournament was weighed in by Jamie Revis and Dillon Richardson. The team had a 15.89lb bag of bass that was anchored by the tournament big fish. For their great catch the team earned $200 in cash plus a free Bass Replica from Craven Outdoors Taxidermy
