The Bass Challenge will end our 2022 year this weekend in Washington on the Tar/Pamlico Rivers. This is our Championship event and we’ll be doing things slightly different for this 2-day tournament.

$1,000 Performance East Bonus Money
Thanks to our friends at Performance East, we’re adding an additional $1,000 payout to 1st Place this weekend! The total payout will be determined by the total number of boats and will be announced at the tournament blast-off. We’re modifying our payout structure for this event to reward the top 5 teams as much as possible. Payouts should be roughly 1 place for every 10 boats.

Kolby Jones Tournament Big Fish Prize
We will be honoring Kolby Jones in this event by providing the tournament big fish winner a “Kolby Jones Tournament Big Fish” trophy and a cash reward of $500. This is a $100 increase from our normal big fish prize. We will also have Kolby Jones stickers available as well. Kolby was an avid angler and fished with the Bass Challenge for years. This is our way of honoring him this weekend.

Shaw’s BBQ Catering
We’ll also be feeding our anglers after day 1 of the event (Saturday). Shaws BBQ of Williamston will be catering our event. There is no charge for the food. It’s our way of saying thank you for fishing with us in 2022!
